1. M type:
Hair begins to thin at the temples and at the crown. As time goes on the hair at the temples recedes further, leaving a central spur of hair at the front and an increasing bald spot at the crown looking like a letter M.
2. U type :
The areas of hair loss at the front and crown meet, and the top of the head becomes gradually balder. A border of hair around the side and back of the head remain, showing a letter U. It is also called C type hair loss.
3. O type :
Hair begins to thin starting from the whirl of hair on the crown.
 
 
1. Hair loss at hair parting ? Hair begins to thin at the parting in hair. As time goes on the hair at the parting recedes further.
2. Hair loss at the crown ? Hair thins at the crown, leaving an increasing bald spot at the crown as times goes on so that the head shape is clearly shown.
3. Circular hair loss ? It is a symptom of the auto-immune system disorder, and also called stress-related hair loss.
